PRIVACY POLICY

Updated 20 September 2026

This policy describes how the current Egg Chute game handles information. For privacy questions, contact Egg Chute at eggchute.support@gmail.com.

Information on your device

The game saves your player name, progress, scores, reaction statistics, Credits, egg collection, achievements and audio preferences on your device. It also stores information needed to reconnect and submit completed races when a connection is available.

In iCloud-enabled iPhone and iPad versions, progress backs up automatically to your private iCloud storage using the iCloud account in device Settings. Use the same iCloud account on a replacement device to restore your game. Sign in with Apple separately identifies your leaderboard account; it is not the iCloud save itself. Earlier app versions and browser players use the Egg Chute server backup. The first iCloud transfer preserves the earlier recovery copy until that account is deleted. Offline changes are saved on the device and synchronized when connected. If both devices have different unsynchronized progress, you choose which to keep; Credits and scores are never added together. We retain the latest cloud copy and one previous recovery copy. A local recovery copy is kept before restoring.

Information sent to the game service

When connected and signed in, the game synchronizes your player profile and eligible results. Server records include your account and player identifiers, display name, equipped and owned eggs, Credits, scores, level progress, reaction times and match history.

Race input timings, impact results, game version and connection timing information are used to run matches, validate performance, prevent duplicate rewards and protect fair play. Profile synchronization can begin when the game opens.

What other players see

Your display name, equipped egg and relevant results can appear in Online matches and leaderboards. Your email address and private sign-in credentials are not displayed to opponents. Use a nickname you are comfortable sharing.

Service providers and support

The current release uses OpenAI Sites for hosting access and sign-in, and Cloudflare infrastructure for game services and storage. These services process the information needed to deliver the game and may keep their own security and service logs. Apple CloudKit stores private saves for iCloud-enabled app versions; this uses the player’s available iCloud storage.

In Apple-enabled app versions, Sign in with Apple provides a unique identifier to verify your game account. Egg Chute does not request your real name or email from Apple. The game session is kept in the device Keychain; the server stores a session fingerprint and an encrypted authorization token for validation and revocation. Temporary sign-in challenges expire after five minutes.

App Store purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive your card or bank details. To deliver, restore and validate permanent egg skins and Credits boosts, we store the purchased product, Apple transaction identifiers, purchase and verification dates, refund status and the linked game player identifier. Test purchases are kept separate from production purchases. StoreKit verifies purchased items on the device; private iCloud game saves are not proof of payment. Restore Purchases restores items associated with the purchasing Apple Account.

If you email support, your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send are processed through Gmail to handle your request. No email is sent by merely opening this screen.

Provider information: OpenAI, Cloudflare, Apple, and Google.

Advertising and permissions

Versions with EARN CREDITS offer optional rewarded video ads through Google AdMob. The button shows the reward before you choose to watch. Earlier versions without this button do not serve ads. Ads are not required to play, and closing an ad early does not change your existing Credits or progress.

AdMob may process your IP address (including approximate location), device or app identifiers, ad views and interactions, and crash or performance information to deliver, measure and protect ads. Egg Chute requests non-personalized ads and disables Google's publisher first-party ID. No game name, email address, or Apple account identifier is sent as ad targeting data. A random, single-use reward reference is sent to Google so our service can verify completion.

Where required, Google's consent form appears before requesting ads. You can revisit required choices using AD PRIVACY OPTIONS near EARN CREDITS. The game does not request camera, microphone, contacts or precise location access. See Google's advertising privacy information.

The game service keeps the reward reference, your game account identifier, verified reward transaction, amount and timestamps to prevent duplicate rewards and enforce the daily limit. These linked records are removed when you delete your game account. Rewards are game Credits only, with no cash value or transfer to other players.

Reports and blocked players

A report stores your player identifier, the reported player and name, the reason, any details you enter, and review timestamps. Reports are available to authorized Egg Chute moderators, not to other players. Blocks store the two player identifiers so the service can hide names and prevent future matchmaking together.

In-game privacy requests store your account identifier, request type, message, private response and timestamps. Only you and authorized support moderators can read them. Responses appear in your request history; these forms do not automatically send email. You can remove a request from that history. Answered privacy requests are removed after 90 days when the request service runs; open requests remain until answered or removed.

Keeping and removing information

Game records are kept while your account is active. Open Account & Safety and choose Delete Account & Data to remove your Egg Chute profile, rankings, Credits, ownership and linked race records. Shared matches retain only an anonymous departed slot so other players can finish. Reports and blocks involving the deleted profile are also removed.

Deleting the game account removes its stored purchase linkage. It does not request an Apple refund or delete Apple's transaction history. After reinstalling, or explicitly creating a new game account after deletion, use Restore Purchases in the Shop with the purchasing Apple Account. Permanent paid eggs and Credits boosts can be restored; deleted progress, earned Credits and gameplay unlocks cannot. Signing in with the same Apple identity allows verified purchases to link to the new profile without recovering the deleted one.

To prevent replaying refunded purchases, the service keeps a one-way transaction fingerprint and refund event dates separately from game accounts. These markers contain no name, account identifier, product, or original transaction identifier and are not used to restore a deleted profile.

Account deletion also removes cloud save copies and linked Apple sessions, and revokes the game’s Apple authorization where used. In iCloud-enabled versions, deleting Account & Data also removes the private iCloud save and recovery copy. If signed out of the game service, you can delete iCloud & Device Data separately and sign in to delete your separate public account. A minimal deletion marker prevents old devices from silently recreating deleted iCloud progress. The recovery copy on the device where you delete is removed too.

After deletion, a one-way fingerprint of the sign-in identifier records the deletion choice and prevents old devices from silently recreating the account. It contains no name, scores or inventory and is removed if you explicitly create a new account. A restriction fingerprint may remain to enforce a safety restriction and handle appeals.

Open player reports remain until reviewed. Reviewed reports are removed after 90 days when the moderation service runs. Support messages are kept to handle requests and their follow-up. Infrastructure logs and backups are subject to the service providers’ retention practices.

Deletion also clears the game save on the device where you confirm it. Offline saves on other devices must be cleared there; they cannot restore deleted server records. The action does not delete your separate OpenAI, Apple or Google account. Contact eggchute.support@gmail.com for privacy questions.
